Whether you’re looking for a career in the great outdoors, have a passion for conservation, or want to care for animals, we have a course for you.
Our practical courses will allow your skills to bloom and qualify you to work across a wide range of jobs in agriculture, horticulture and floristry. Or if working with creatures great and small is your goal, we’ll give you the skills you need to launch your career in animal or veterinary services.
From our Rural Centre of Excellence and horticulture precincts, to fully equipped pet grooming salon and veterinary clinic, you’ll graduate job ready with skills employers want.
I like my teachers at TAFE Queensland because they're very helpful, and they give you the right information for what you need to be doing and help you out when you need. They give you the best opportunities and pathways to lead off from.
I became a teacher to encourage others to join the agriculture industry, because there’s such a large range of opportunities available. It’s not just a farmer anymore, the sky is the limit.

Business skills is one of the major things in floristry because other than that, you do it as a hobby. It's really a big thing for students to know if they open their own shop, what is behind the scenes.
