Sustainability at TAFE Queensland

In our Social and Environmental Sustainability Action Plan 2024-28, TAFE Queensland outlines its goals, strategies and actions towards achieving our commitment to sustainability.

TAFE Queensland Social and Environmental Sustainability Action Plan 2024-2028

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

TAFE Queensland’s Sustainability framework is broadly aligned to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and is made up of four key pillars - Social and Ethical Responsibility, Philanthropic Endeavours, Environmental Impacts, and Economic Responsibility.

About our plan

In the Social and Environmental Sustainability Action Plan 2024-28, TAFE Queensland outlines its corporate social responsibility, achievements to date and plans for the future.

Through this action plan, we will connect with and empower our students, communities, industries and government agencies to build a platform to grow our sustainability commitments.
