#Digitrek: Experience digital technologies

Held across May and June in May 2023, #Digitrek participants experienced free face-to-face workshops and events showcasing the career and business opportunities that can be harnessed through cutting-edge technology.

#Digitrek provided regional Queenslanders with greater insight into the digital skills required by the workforce of the future in response to the demand for technology, cyber security and artificial intelligence specialists which continues to grow across the state.

Digitrek participants unpacked concepts, problem solved and learnt new tech skills to open up a world of career and business possibilities. Attendees were also provided with the opportunity to access a subscription to Digitrek’s Go-1 online learning platform, with access to hundreds of online digital micro-credentials and courses.

There has never been a better time to learn about digital careers and opportunities, with demand for skills at an all-time high. The Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy’s Digital Professional Workforce Action Plan is working to supply an additional 10,000 digital professionals in Queensland by 2024.
