What does it mean if my application has been waitlisted?

Did you know that waitlisting does not confirm you are enrolled in your course?

If your application has made the waitlist, it means you're on the list for our next available course intaking coming up.

For a few different reasons, we need to waitlist applications due to:

  • popular course can fill fast and there are no more places available.
  • the next intake is not listed just yet by the faculty.
  • the next course intake is not yet open for admissions and applications.

When your application has been waitlisted, we will ensure your application is assessed and will be in touch:

  • to let you know and ask if the next intake works for you.
  • to amend your application for the next intake date starting in the Student Portal.
  • when we are ready for you to be admitted to the course.

If you've received a waitlist email notificaion - don't worry, you don't need to do anything - we will be in touch when the next intake is ready.

If you have questions aobut your application being waitlisted, contact us via webchat, or call us on 1300 308 233.

What happens if the next course start date is not suitable?
If the next intake is not suitable for you, you can reply t your email and our customer service team will cancel your application.

You can also withdraw your application on the Student Portal at any time.
