Study music

From Q Music award winners to Aria chart toppers and successful touring musicians, our hall of fame is forever growing. With a combination of state-of-the-art studios and teachers with strong industry connections, our students are equipped with the know-how to get their big break.

TAFE Queensland offers a range of courses in music and sound production from certificate II right through to bachelor degrees. Learn technical and theoretical skills to compose and arrange music, mix and produce sound, and operate audio equipment. Successful completion of our Diploma of Music Industry (CUA50820) will also automatically qualify you for a provisional place in the Bachelor of Creative Industries (Contemporary Music Practice)(ARB403), offered in partnership with the University of Canberra.
